This simple, classic dish should be kept in everybody’s back pocket. You will never want to eat jarred pasta sauce again once you realize how easy it is to make a flavorful sauce by simply combining a can of tomatoes with the right spices and of course, some vodka. Simply cook your pasta while your sauce cooks and presto, dinner is crazy fast.
1 Pasta Rock
1 lb Trofie Pasta
2 Tbsp Caramelized Garlic Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Sweet Smoked Chili Rub
Roasted Garlic Sea Salt
If you would like to add meat to this dish, would recommend browning it at the same time you're sauteing the onion. This dish would be great with both sausage or chicken.
If you don't have Pasta Rocks on hand it is still important to season your pasta water! Salting the water is the only time the pasta itself is going to be seasoned so make sure your water is salty like the sea. We recommend adding 1 Tbsp of salt for every 4 quarts of water.
